In many ways, Raw can trace its origins back to 1983 when Peter and David first met at the local nursery and a friendship was forged over milk and building blocks. During those early Grange Hill years, many a schoolboy business venture was tried from car washing to property newspapers, after which David followed his inner geek and enjoyed a successful career in IT whilst Pete started out in retail selling the then relatively new product of Mobile phones.
In early 2007 the pair decided to go back to those early business routes and start a business together combing David’s technical ability with Pete’s sales and mobile knowledge. The aim was to deliver telecoms solutions to business in South Yorkshire with exceptional support and reliability.
In April that year Raw Telecom was born (the same year as the iPhone) and we are happy to say has successfully evolved every year since. We now have a successful track record of helping businesses of all sizes throughout the UK make their communications solutions work for them, with many customers from those early days still happily trusting us to consistently deliver.
